Right from history,
education of an African child has always been
collective responsibility of both teachers and
parents and in-fact of the community. In
Nigeria today, there is an increasing awareness
of the importance of Parent-Teacher Association
in our educational Institutions. In almost all
primary and secondary Institutions there exist a
standing PTA. In George & Duke College there
exists a functional PTA. The PTA has an
excellent working relationship with the school
management.
